Single® Single B Cell Antibody Discovery Technology
Leveraging key advantages of SmocMab® mice, including diverse immune response profiles, high antibody affinity, and low immunogenicity, the SmocMab® Fully Humanized Antibody Development Platform effectively addresses core challenges in conventional antibody development: protracted timelines, elevated immunogenicity risks, and unstable success rates. It provides pharmaceutical R&D institutions with comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
We offer a highly flexible, phased partnership model: clients can obtain samples directly after mouse immunization, or entrust us to continue with antibody discovery and move on to in vivo efficacy testing. From immunization to efficacy validation, each stage can be entered independently or connected seamlessly, fully meeting individual needs across different R&D stages and project timelines.
Our professional team will conduct a customized project analysis based on your requirements, confirm the plan, and prepare the antigen.
Mouse immunization is performed according to the client-confirmed immunization protocol established during prior consultations.
We employ a multifaceted and multimodal approach to optimize antibody screening, striving to efficiently obtain high-quality target antibodies.
Comprehensive activity validation of the obtained antibodies.
Leveraging our extensive library of disease animal models, we conduct in vivo efficacy experiments for the developed antibodies.
We have built a diversified antibody discovery technology matrix spanning three pathways: hybridoma, single B cell, and phage display library. Hybridoma is mature and stable, single B cell is high-throughput and fast, and phage display excels at broad-spectrum screening. Each has its own strengths and complements the others. The optimal approach is selected flexibly based on target characteristics and project goals, significantly improving antibody discovery success rate and efficiency.
Leveraging an extensive animal model resource library and deep experience in preclinical in vivo efficacy evaluation, we provide one-stop CRO services from antibody discovery through efficacy validation. Once antibody discovery is complete, subsequent in vivo efficacy studies can begin directly without cross-platform handoffs, significantly shortening R&D timelines, reducing communication and transfer costs, and creating an efficient closed loop.
Specifically designed to address the immunization challenges posed by highly homologous antigens, this approach effectively overcomes immune tolerance. Drawing on more than twenty years of experience in mouse gene editing, we can precisely design knockout strategies for the mouse homologous gene according to each target characteristic, eliminating self-recognition interference at the source. This enables SmocMab® fully humanized antibody mice to clearly recognize unique epitopes on human targets, eliciting stronger and more specific antibody responses and providing superior precision immunization support for antibody discovery against difficult, highly homologous targets.
